Psalm 86
More Psalms... again.
"Hear, O LORD, and answer me,
for I am poor and needy.
Guard my life, for I am deveoted to you.
You are my God; save your servant
who trusts in you.
Have mercy on me,O Lord,
for I call to you all day long."
There are times when you really feel like you need a hand or some help from God, but you don't always get it. God defies the notion of being a cosmic vending machine; He operates in ways we sometimes can't understand... but we're still allowed the freedom to cry out when we're in need.
