acts 13

Peter and Barnabas spread the word to various cities. and wherever they go, they are not accepted kindly by the authorites or people in positions of power. but even though they are persectued or run out of towns, they continue their work with praises and joy in the Lord. there are times when i find it difficult to be humble and serve when it feels like your service is undervalued and taken for granted. but in all these things i try to keep to heart that it is not for recognition or obligation that i do these things, but for the joy in serving the God.
