Joshua 15
This chapter continues with the allotment of territory, but specifically the tribe of Judah. Most the passage is pretty mundane - place names, geographical descriptions... but there were a couple interesting highlights.
One highlight is reference to "sons of Anak", whom Caleb had to drive out of Hebron. The whole issue of "sons of Anak" is an interesting controversy of itself. Golaith is the most famous member of this group, supposedly a race of evil, giant men whom some people believe to be the descendants of demons / human women. If you're ever bored, Google "sons of Anak" or "Nephilim" to read some interesting stuff.
Another interesting thing is mention of a group of people, the Jebusites, who the Israelites could not drive out of the city of Jerusalem, because many generations ago, Abraham had made a convenant with them and the Israelites were bound by oath to keep it... until later, when the Jebusites made war against David. An interesting article about the Jebusites can be read here.
