When I think about how the Israelites were freed from their slavery its a very unusual of going at about it. If I were to go about freeing my people from bondage I would try and plan a revolt and fight my way out. Basically gain independence through revolutionary war, something like braveheart.
But God does it a totally different way. And not only does He free His people with no causilties, the Egyptians actually give them a whole bunch of stuff when they leave (silver, gold, clothing).
God's ways are better than man's ways...
