watching the recap of the sonics/magic game, it was very satyisfying to see how well they shut down orlando. the sonics are one of the best teams this year for a good reason, they play as a team. each man knows their role, and plays their part to help the team win. on the opposite end, it was readily apparent how uncoordinated orlando was, with a lack of leadership and coordination and a lot of guys only playing one on one and trying to do it all on their own(stevie franchise, cough cough). it reminds me that we are all part of one big body, and no one member is more important than the other. also, without the coordination and support of the body as a whole, things won't get done. the other thing is that leadership does not mean doing things alone by yourself, but by utilizing and coordinating the gifts of your team mates to effectively do God's work. you've got those that weren't just great by themselves, but also brought out the best in their team mates, like Jordan or Nash. and then you've got those that try to be the team by themselves, like Francis or Kobe. How much greater is the harvest when we work as one body, one mind, one team.
