I also was shocked where it said that the innocent one of a bad marriage cannot remarry in order to prove the sanctity of marriage. This really bites that there are all these rules to obey. In the next chapter, truthfulness is described as transparancy of oneself to God. You are to show everything, good and bad. And that if you do so, there shall be no need to lie.
